I can honestly say I wasted 120 hours of my life to FF XII just because it was a FF. And the grinding was the mindless kind that just made you sit there in front of the TV, pressing buttons like a loyal robot. I didn't have fun exactly, I just... did it. O.o
The 150 hours I spent with FF X on the other hand, were filled with love, grief, fun, humour and even tedium, all in adequate amounts. :)

lol actually the "Seraphic" part of my name has nothing to do with Final Fantasy VII at all, how nice of you to assume that though because it goes to show my fondness of FFVII. :)

Opinion:
Not going to lie i love Final Fantasy but i hate ff12 with a passion.I played the game for hours thinking id get into it or it would get better but sadly it did not.Had a friend that went all out and bought the expensive edition and traded it in days after buying it.Just thought i toss in my opinion if people enjoyed it thats great, but i didn't think it was fun at all.

Indeed, Gabranth was the far better choice for Dissidia.

It's a fun game.
Boring story, uninteresting characters, but gameplay is really fun and that's what kept me playing for over 150 hours.

I like how the characters didnt resonate with you
to me the other games are just melodrama overload. many people care about the characters, but me I just rolled my eyes through ff 7.
this game left it out of my face, and let me actually enjoy it.
also you couldnt get to the quickenings? those i got PRETTY early i recall.
but yeh in conclusion, it was the least ham fisted ff since ps1. so for people who DONT like ff stories generally, ff 12 was much better.
nothing ruins a game more than a horribly written love story (or 5)
