I like how the characters didnt resonate with you
to me the other games are just melodrama overload. many people care about the characters, but me I just rolled my eyes through ff 7.
this game left it out of my face, and let me actually enjoy it.
also you couldnt get to the quickenings? those i got PRETTY early i recall.
but yeh in conclusion, it was the least ham fisted ff since ps1. so for people who DONT like ff stories generally, ff 12 was much better.
nothing ruins a game more than a horribly written love story (or 5)
Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6). This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.
