Gran Turismo 5 Prologue managed to sell 108,000 in its first week in Japan.

Considering GT5P managed to sell >500,000 in Japan, it bodes well for future Gran Turismo PSP sales.

Also, keep in mind Famitsu don't cover DD sales, and it was significantly cheaper on JP PSN, so the real figures are likely to be considerably higher

GT PSP is actually a really good game getting really bad reviews because it's not what the reviewer wanted.

BTW - GT5P got 15% of sales FW if trend continues we can see GTPSP break 900k.... WOWZERS! Especially since Japan is handhelds.

Keep in mind this figure is only for the retail sales. Considering it was rather cheap on PSN, I wouldn't be surprised if the DD figures are significant as well.

GT5P didn't get over 250k on its own strength, the only reason it ended up a lot higher was that is got bundled last holiday season. So if GT PSP ends up following the sales pattern of GT5 Prologue it will probably end up near the 300k mark.
