Gran Turismo PSP starts far better than GT5P in Japan : 144,000 vs. 108,000

So yeah, after ~50,000 on day one, it managed to sell 144,000 first week.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue managed to sell 108,000 in its first week in Japan.

 

 

Considering GT5P managed to sell >500,000 in Japan, it bodes well for future Gran Turismo PSP sales.

 

Also, keep in mind Famitsu don't cover DD sales, and it was significantly cheaper on JP PSN, so the real figures are likely to be considerably higher

 

Very promising start - nearly tripled the first day sales in retail alone!
