i think depending on the game.
on heavy rain it fits, the girl trying to get information.
but mass effect?!. it ruins the game story and character design, OMGZ THEY HAZ SEX it's use to sell.

I had forgotten how much I disagreed with Naznatips on Mass Effect. Everyone has right to their opinion but his dialogue tree and sex scene complaints were dubious at best.
I bought Leisure Suit Larry on the PS2. It had full frontal female nudity (including a chick with a penis), and featured full on "Man in a hotdog suit having sex with a hot chick" sex. Nobody even raised an eyebrow. Mass Effect showed a half of a but, and Fox News went F'n crazy!
Because in Mass Effect you were having lesbian sex with an alien, perhaps?
As compared to having sex with a human?

Um no. Side stories were built into the fabric of the game and the love section fit just fine. Heavy Rain should have a much larger stamp of maturity on it. If kids get near that game they are going to be seeing scenes of a nature that they just shouldn't be seeing. This game is purely for young adults and older folks. It sucks but that should cut into the sales as well. I can bet money as well that the US version of the game is going to be sexually toned down as opposed to Europes version. Mass Effect will have scenes of a sexual nature, but it wont show anything.

You can have sex with humans as well.

Damn after beating Mass Effect over a dozen times, I could have sworn you could have a heterosexual romance with a human as well. I guess that was just my own delirium.

Perhaps you do, I've never played it. But I'm pretty sure the controversy was to do with the lesbian alien sex.
