This'll just be a time for the retailers to check out a few of Nintendo's known games. Maybe they'll show some new features, like demoing the Demo Play option in New Super Mario Bros.

I'm thinking maybe Japan is getting a NSMB Wii Hardware bundle. Famicom-colored Wii maybe? They've been awfully quiet about the NSMB Wii's release date in Japan for some reason.

The last time Nintendo had one of these Japanese retailer conferences they announced jet black Wii + Monster Hunter Tri bundle, and Mr. Iwata said he liked the excitement that retailer conference created.

I'd be happy enough with a Super Mario Galaxy 2 new trailer though or even some new levels from NSMB Wii shown would be nice. 

i think by now people should know nothing good is announced at any conference besides E3

The last two Zeldas have been announced at GDC, and quite a bit was announced at the Fall Conference just last year.

Punch Out, Brawl, and Gears of War 2 were all announced outside of E3.

On one hand, it's the same time as last year.

On the other hand, Nintendo made an announcement about it last time.

I'm not going to get myself hyped.

im guessing its cos they have no more games coming in the firstr half of next year. anything in the second half can be shown at E3. games like dynamic slash and cosmic walker will prob just be stealth released

I have no clue, but as most other people said, probably new Wii Bundles to increase the value of the wii system, possibly some hints of a BIG game next year (*cough zeldawii cough*)
