It would be more interesting if Gordon Freeman wins. Then is would be the best PC vs. best Console character. Mario vs. Link is boring because there is no way that Link will win.

I don't think Gordon Freeman is doing well because of Nintendo haters. Nintendo characters have dominated the poll. If anything the opposite is in effect.

He beats the crap out of zombies with a crowbar.

Both of these heroes are great. If you don't know who gordon freeman is, and haven't played his games, maybe you should consider quitting gaming, considering they are right up there with Ocarnia of time for being the best games ever made.

My vote goes to the freeman. While I love zelda, half-life is the best fps ever crafted, and the game that made halo what it is. Not to mention th freeman is a total badass and a physicist. he's so damn cool.

A gamer who hasn't played the half-life games has absolutely no soul. They are the Pinacle of first person gameplay and revolutionized the games industry.

Gordon got my vote.

Just to clarify to the others that don't know what happened with the poll about Bub & Bob and most other characters. It's because 4chan decided to vote for less known character to just make people realise that they always vote for the same thing which is plain boring over time (every character poll finishes with almost the same finals) and they wanted fanboy tears.

The ultimate goal was to vote for Bub & Bob to clear some room (Sonic, Master Chief) to bring Duke Nukem to the top.
