It would be more interesting if Gordon Freeman wins. Then is would be the best PC vs. best Console character. Mario vs. Link is boring because there is no way that Link will win.

I don't think Gordon Freeman is doing well because of Nintendo haters. Nintendo characters have dominated the poll. If anything the opposite is in effect.
