Mass Effect 2 is shaping up so nicely, i really need to finish ME1 again to have the perfect file to carry over.

Yea, you really need to. I'm replaying it myself but this time on my live account because I'm tired of all of my gamerscore being on my normal account. Plus I wanted to get ready for what will be an amazing sequal, and a great game and maybe change some of my decisions knowing that it may have consequences in the next.

@coolbeans

same stuff was said about bioshock, and just because 1st game wasnt on ps3 is no reason why sequel cant arrive at a later date, theres already a handful of second games that are coming to ps3 where the 1st wasnt.

like i said dont be suprised if it ends on up on ps3 later on.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

I would say mass effect 2 on ps3 is likely. MS had a deal for the first game and likely the second one aswell but EA bought the developer out and things seem to have changed. Mass effect 2 not being at MS E3 conference pretty much confirmed a ps3 version imo.

nah, i don't think so...
if its a WRPG then only Bethesda can do it.

There is so much wrong with what you are saying. BioWare is the king of WRPGs, with Bethesda being the only people to threaten that position

Honestly, I believe it's true, but there isn't really anything to say until it's released. Although I doubt FF13 will touch it. Sure, FF13 is going to be a great JRPG, but a big BioWare game beats the living crap out of all other RPGs

Both of you are mistaken - Black Isle Studios/Obsidian Entertainment is the king of WRPGs, with BioWare the secondary holder of the crown. Bethesda could only be in consideration after they.

I don't know if this will set new standards. Depends on how it compares to the first one.

How can you even compair this with FF13? WRPG and JRPG are two compleetly different genres. One is my favorite genre, the other one I can't stand.

You really can't compare FFXIII to Mass Effect 2. Mass Effect 2 will be the one of the best rpg next year.

Obsidian ranks on par with Bethesda at best, in my experience
