I always thought that it would be in your benefit to try to convert instead of killing, as the odds of picking a mafia were low (if you were careful) and it would have been so much better for you. Specially after hatmoza died. But no, you were so deadlocked in eating people....
make sure to use the "medium" role i invented a try in other games zexen.
