Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Forza 3: What's on disc 2 (104 cars, 29 tracks)

How could they put Nurburgring Nordschleife on the optional disc....?..........
It should be on the first..

It's a track that is mainly used for touring car races and tuning cars. Hardly conducive to most cars in Forza3. I don't know what's on Disc 1, but something tells me they put all the best tracks on it.

dude it's The Legendary Ring!

How are the Integra Type-R and the NSX considered to be American, when these cars are assembled in Japan by a Japanese company?

It sucks to be an arcade owner, as you're going to lose out on 25% of the cars and 30% of the tracks (unless the 29 tracks on disc 2 is a typo, as only 3 tracks are listed, and there can only be so many ways to race around the same track).

Acura is considered an American brand so are Infiniti and Lexus though their mother companies are Japanese companies.

???

Acura is the luxury car division of Honda.  Its headquarters are in Tokyo, Japan.  How would anyone consider that to be an American brand?

Next you're going to tell me that Audi is American too?

That may be, but not many races happen on it anymore. Even so, if it is that important to most people without a HD they can install it on a memory card. Besides, having the option and ability to upgrade and play more maps and cars is better than not having the second disc and all it's content.

Wow, just Wow!! This thread is comical to say the least. 360 owners and there skewed view of the world. "Its ok that there are two discs, the second one isn't really needed anyway" "Arcade owners should already have a HDD, its there fault they will miss out on part of there $60 purchase"

This is complete BS, as are the idiotic installs required by crap companies like capcom for the PS3. SF needs an install to slow load times yet Uncharted 1 and 2 do not? Where are all the people that were saying a racing game will never take up 2 discs? I think this says a lot for whats to come on the 360. FF should be interesting to say the least.

Such a stupid thing to do.

"Dear Arcade owners, here's half a game. And oh, if you have a Silver account you'll miss out on the MP part aswell. Oh yeah, that'll be 60$"

it will forces them to shelll 80$ on a 120gb drive.

Troll much? I fail to see where anybody posted that Arcade users should already have a HD or that it is their fault they will miss out of content (although, that is true, they chose not to buy a HD, however, if they have a memory card, they can install bits of the content to it. I fail to see how that is a skewed view.)

Installs are a good thing, they keep us from needing two discs. Please enlighten me as to what a better solution would be. All the people saying racing games would not come on two discs didn't think racing games would have so much content. I suggest you re-read this entire thread, then delete your fail post.
