Natal has more of a chance of taking off than Sony's Wand does. I'm also not crossing my fingers that Natal fails or anything, if you read my post properly you would have seen that I was just stating possible scenarios.

In my mind Natal is Microsoft's strategy to keep the sales pace of the 360 at the level it's at now for longer. Which is why the PS3 has a chance of catching up if Natal fails and the 360's sales begin to slow down but won't be able to if Natal does really well.

Well if ps3 fanboys are any worse (I don't think they really are)  then I would have to attribute that to the fact that an awful lot of them are people who have been burned by the 360's faulty hardware and they have a bone to pick with microsoft. Like the guy in the video I posted on page 2.

Anyways, I can see it the gap dwindle into somewhere of 5mil end of this year. FF13 is going to help PS3 sales in Japan.

Well room, i HIGHLY doubt that someone went through 5 Xbox's. And there are alot of people who still go through PS2's, Do they come on here complaining?

IMO most people who come on here and say there Xbox broke are people who perfer Sony, extremest if you will,now i know there are Sony fans who dont go and spread FUD,Take CGI-Quality, Iv never seen him on here saying "OH noes my friends 10th Xbox 360 RROD",for that i have immense respect for him.

And yes there are 360 fanboys who spread FUD about the PS3,But there seem to be more PS3 fanboys than 360 ones, or at least more vocal.

December is going to be a huge gap closer if Micorosoft doesn't do anything, which I doubt. That FF XIII bundle and the PS3 are likely to sell like hot cakes

This is my objective look. :

Sony have done well. PS3 Slim is much better priced than PS3 has ever been, and looks attractive.

M$ seem to have tried to lessen the hurt this christmas with 250GbHDD packs. The FM3 pack is great for europe and MW2 for America. Sky will help UK for 360.

I think it's wishful thinking that PS3 can make up 6 million sales from Jan Aug ( the slowest time for consoles sales ).

If Natal captures even half of the casual market that wii has, the gap will increase from Natals release to the end of the gen not close. Natal will play a big influence to whether 360 walks it or holds on. It will be interesting to say the least.

I predict this:

Gap as of January 2010 7 million.

Gap as of 2 weeks prior to Natal release 6.2 million

Gap as of Jan 2011 9.2 million ( I think Natal will be hugely successful. )

October 5th as far as I know.
