Generally, Japan market seems a bit low for this time of year; and boy they were off for SMG!

But you also have to wonder if their expectations for SMG were realistic in the first place ...
Mario Galaxy has sold (to date) half of what Super Mario Sunshine sold in its lifetime and is still chugging along at 30,000+ units per week. Most of Nintendo's best selling games in Japan over the past several years have been games which just continued to sell at a steady rate (like this) for years so it would not be unusual to see SMG pass Mario Sunshine's lifetime sales (or pass 1 Million units sold) sometime in 2008.

they were way high on Wii numbers. The only Wii title that Bombed was Nights, the others only bombed compared to their guesses. I am pretty sure no one is calling WiiFit a bomb.
psn- tokila
add me, the more the merrier.
SMG should sell another 100k this week to reach 800k. so it's pretty close to 1 mil i guess...
the Wii is an epidemic.
They seem to be too high on almost every title except most DS titles and Dynasty Warriors for PS3. The biggest differences percentage wise are for GT5 Prologue and Nights. But maybe next weeks numbers will surprise us.
