But the single player demo is still there, so it's not exactly the same.

It's really incentice to pre-order with in-store pickup or same day shipping, so you don't miss a minute.

Losing stats in multiplayer is far, too.  It'd suck to be a new player and start off with thousands of level 20+ players right off the bat just because you didn't DL the beta.

12th October 2009. I automatically assume all dates are DD/MM/YY, and the OP confirmed it, because I know Uncharted 2's release date. Except isn't it the 13th? (16th in Europe).

The norm here is MM/DD/YY but I always go with DD/MM/YY

I'll have to go 2 whole weeks without uncharted as that's how long it takes the folks who I ordered with to send their stuff :( They had a deal going and I couldn't let it go...oh well :)
