Warren Spector's ambitious-looking cyberpunk adventure, Epic Mickey will finally see an official unveiling next month.

That's according to the next month page of (where else?) US mag Game Informer (via the GAF), which shows a large image of the Disney mascot's bonce alongside the text, "Something EPIC is brewing". A subtle tease there, then.

Apart from the leaked concept art on this page, nothing's been said of the cyberpunk Disney effort yet.

However, CVG sources claimed this summer that the game is a Wii-exclusive adventure which has players painting their way through gritty levels using the Wii Remote.

The story is said to involve very old and/or forgotten Disney characters who are out to get their revenge on Mickey, presumably because they're jealous of all his fame and fortune.

It sounds (and looks) very interesting indeed, and it's certainly true that Warren Spector rarely puts a foot wrong.

What do you guys think about this? I am rather excited.

The graphics so far look great but I'd like some actual gameplay footage. The premise of the game- people jealous of the fame and fortune- reminds me of bugs bunny's birthday blowout.

With a title like Epic mickey though, i doubt they will fail to deliver with a great game. It should hold me over til KH3 :D

Wow, if it really is a Wii exclusive, I expect a meltdown on the GAF boards.

From what I have seen this game looks awsome. We just have to hope the game is fun and still a little dark.

The wii has begun to attract very nice exclusives.

On topic: The gameart of Epic Mickey looks great. Can't wait to see more.
