So what if its "hard to control and play and not comfy"? Big deal. Don't be a baby. It looks freakin cool and I'm definitely getting it.

Dude, it's a gaming system. If it's hard to control and play and isn't comfy it sucks.

lol thats funny. But really though PSP go isn't worth it. Why?

1. Xbox is cheaper

2. Wii is cheaper

3. PSP-3000 is cheaper and better (umd movies/wide game selection)

4. Too thin (especially when open) (oh and I think it looks dumb. PSP-3000 is like the iphone of handhelds in terms of sexy)

5. Releasing too early. Sony should hold back on the launch and improve on whats wrong with it.

If I see anyone in the street with a PSP GO I'm going to slap em with my 3000. Right in the kisser.

Why? Because they bought a system that they wanted??? Because they're preferences don't match yours???

Grow up...

No. Because some things don't make sense. Like why is the PSPgo more expensive than both Xbox and Wii? Why did Sony release a successor to the PSP when the PSP is no where near dead yet? An it being a successor to the PSP why can it not play PSP games? Do they expect PSP owners to buy a PSPgo or are they looking for new customers (casuals maybe?). Does Sony really believe the PSP3000 and PSPgo can sell in the same market without competing with each other? Think about it. Whoever has or buys a PSP3000 is probably not going to fork up another $250 or so to buy a PSPgo or vice verca.

1) Early adopters price/ Profit
2) It's not the PSP's successor... it's the PSP...
3) It can play PSP games... Where are you getting your info from?
4) SONY have stated that the system is for those that want a more portable experience. For those that like UMD's, the 3000 isn't going anywhere unless a 4000 [with UMD] comes along. They're catering to 2 different markets without isolating either one. The PSP owners that are downloading games more than buying them and the PSP owners that are more focused with portable multimedia are the ones that they expect to buy it.
5) I don't see why not... how are they even competing?? Like i said in number 4, they're for two different crowds.. not the same crowd....

EDIT:
Added on to 4) Also the people who they expect to buy it are new comers that are looking for more portablility, something smaller for multimedia, People that are more into pick up and play when they can, while still having the system more focus on other entertainment content.

Also:
Why are you posting about the DSi here? Trolling?

Ok. It can play PSP games just not UMD's. So then are all the PSP games that are on UMD being uploaded to PSPgo's network?

Ok. You tell me something since you seem to know more about it more than me. The PSP-3000 looks really appealing to me right now for various reasons. I do understand that the PSPgo is also a multimedia beast, but If I only want one system, and the go being the newest PSP in the market, why should I choose a go? What's in it that makes it a "must have" compared to a 3000?

In most forums, this would be considered off topic and therefore trolling.

From what we know, all new titles will be released on UMD and on the PSN. Currently they already have PSP titles available on PSN, they have for quite a while now. Just this past week they added about 5-10 more. They will do this weekly, adding some older titles while adding in new releases. Currently on the US PSN there are 82 PSP titles.

They also seem to be pretty well priced, ranging from $4.99 up to $29.99, majority of the titles are between $9.99 and $19.99.

Why would people choose a GO? I don't know, maybe they want to be able to bring their handheld around without having to lug around UMDs? It is aimed at people who just want pick up and play gaming. Download full games, download minis, portable movie viewing, pretty much people who don't care at all about UMDs.

Don't want to sound like a dick, but it pays to know what you are talking about before coming into a thread and trash talking something you admit to knowing very little about.

I forgot what last I read... but it said either 450 games added to the store on the PSPGo's launch, or 450 games on the PSN Store for PSP by the end of the year. Either way, one things confirmed. Expect a flood of games added October first.

As for you other questions. Depends. If you just want games, go for the 3000. If you're mainly after multimedia I don't see why you would choose the 3000 over the Go unless you're on a low budget. If it's Semi both of if you're just into pick up and play, I would say Go but it really depends on you.

Pause Game Feature.
Most likely more apps available for it than the 3000.
Lighter/Thinner
Bluetooth
Doesn't have the video game look when used for music and vids

These 5 reasons would make me choose the Go over the 3000 if I was buying it for more than just games...

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
