Forums - Sony - Help with Disgaea 3

So I've been playing Disgaea 3 and I must say it's a very fun little niche RPG.. but I have a few questions. First of all, you must know this is my first Disgaea game so I am still a bit shaddy on how it all works.

So here are my questions/doubts:

1) Does Mao always gain so much more mana points than everyone else? I mean, I want to level up skills for Naples, Almaz, etc. but they gain so very slow, is there a way I can speed this up?

2) Do they always give you terrible equip items at the store? :/ Can't seem to buy any good armor and weapons.

3)Which are the best evilties? :)

Help is much appreciated :3

i'll answer number 2.

no , if you look at the first store screen you will find a store level (i don't remember what its called) , its the level of the store, and if you buy or sell more from it it will level up, meaning it will have better equipment.
you can also get "into" some of the the items (the ones that glow in the item menu) in the item world, and you can up the stats of that item, or just to level up your party

You get Mana by killing enemies, Mao's getting more because you're using him to get thee killing blow more often than not.

You can upgrade the Item Shop in Class World.

I forget the Evilities since it's been so long. Best ones are probably ones you can't get until a second playthrough or something.

Or something.

1) If you have Mao in the Mana Robber club (or whatever it is called), then that might be why he's getting more mana than everyone else. It could also be because he's getting more kills than anyone else.

2) There's two bars you see when you go into any shop. One is the maximum level the store can go, which goes up as you buy/sell things. The other is its current level, which you can increase by passing a bill in the Assembly in Homeroom.

3) Not sure about the ideal Evilities, as I haven't gotten quite that far yet.

1- you get mana by killing ennemy...the one who lands the last blow on the ennemy gets everything

2-You can vote in class  for better items in shop.

3- Depends, i haven't played for a long time but i like the one with Samurai(girl), something like 50% more dmg on single target. i dont remember wich class had that one but you can learn 50% to monster(non human ennemy)dmg  too,i think.

i had 2 lady samurai and 3-4 cheerleader (5% boost all ally unit, i think i was using something that increased crit rate too) and 2 shaman (-5% all enemy and the other one was -20% evasion i think), i beat baal(land of carnage) with that.

i think ninja can be pretty good too with 50% evade no matter wich side the ennemy attack (and with all the speed they get from weapon...)

but i never tried them.

1) The person who lands the killing blow gets the mana.

2) Vote in class for more expensive stuff. Also the more you buy the higher your customer level. The higher you customer level the better the stuff.

3) Depends. You really just have to build your own strategies with these. I will say that there are alot of really interesting ones but you probably won't even see them until your like 50hours+ in the game.
