2 wands..

each with an analogue.

No nunchuck...

2 full wands. If they did that it'd be perfect :p

The investment would likely be too large. 2 wands for single player games? We're talking $60-80 easily. 4 wands for a two player game? 8 wands for a four player game? No, as cool as it would be, I don't think it's a realistic solution, although it might work for a few select titles.

A wii mote and a nunchuck is practically the price of two dualshock 3s. If people have no problems buying that they should have no problems buying two wands.

I don't know in you country, in Spain a wiimote + nunchuk costs exactly the same as one Dualshock 3, 60 euros.

...........Not buying this idea.

First of all, it has none of the Wii's appeal. NONE.
Second of all, which games will implement this feature, Wii ports? PS3 owners are DEFINITELY not sold on the idea of purchasing ports, especially if it is from lower-tier Wii games.
Third of all, how does it even work?

And fourth, when is it coming out?

1) well its not out yet...but Heavy and intelligent Marketing can definitely give it appeal, iirc the Wii was treated as a joke b4 it launched...look at it now

2) New TitlesApe Escape The Tower Motion Party Champions of Time Sing and Draw New Echochrome Machi Suberi

Updates to current titlesLBP PAIN Flower Hustle King High Velocity Bowling Eyepet, and not mention are eastern seemed thrilled the SONY wands specifically Capcom, Marvelous and Grasshopper

3) there are multiple development videos about them...ill post them in a sec

4) spring 2010 with games listed above as launch titles

Don't think so. (Recall e3 2006)

@Staude: No. The Wiimote + nunchuck costs $60, the DS3 costs $55.

No the Wiimote + Nunchuck costs 800kr a dualshock 3 costs between 400 and 550kr depending on where you get it.

A wii mote is 450-550kr and a nunchuck is 229-300kr.

Wait until Sony roll out its black PS balance board.

the design looks slick..but why didnt they house the ball???? but instead they leave it external...

At least we don't have to wait for the actual Wii HD to see the failure of the concept.
