Onyxmeth - Sony actually expects people to hold a Dualshock while they hold that crap looking thing they call a wand.
Lol, Sony, WTF are you doing???

I'm assuming they're in the process of this as we speak. I'm sure SOME peripherial is on the way, has to be.... |
If so, then why would they demo the game using the DS3. Why not wait and show it off when said peripherial is developed. At least they would not have turned off potential gamers like they have. The GDC conference is in the spring or they could of invited the gaming press to the headquarters of SCEA and demoed the game using the wand and it's analog peripherial.

If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba

Ok don't scream when you hear this You hold the Dualshock 3 in one hand & the wand in the other {runs} |
I'd like to ask you if you're joking, but running away insists you're probably not. What the fuck is with the cobbling up of various old accessories to create the Wii's control system? So it takes a wand, a camera and a dualshock 3 to get this thing going? So what, are they going to package them all together as some funny assortment? Seriously though, that's hilarious regarding the Dualshock. A two handed controller being held up by one hand to make up for the lack of peripheral add-on. It might be time to re-invest in a Sixaxis to drop some of that extra weight the DS3 brings.

Perhaps as a place holder. HOPEFULLY as a place holder, but knowing Sony, they will listen to the feedback of the masses.
Remember that fugly thing? Had it not been for the feedback, it WOULD BE the PS3's current controller. D: |
And it looks awesome too.
Anyways, like i said. Two wands, one being each half a dualshock in functionality = optimal solution. That way you have something the wii can't achieve with it's wiimote/nunchuck combination.
Ofcourse the eye allows for that aswell.. but the holding a dualshock is just facepalm worthy.
I jusr posted article that points out the basic design of the controller is finished enough so that developers can get to work on them but still leave room for improvements..guys trust that the wand WILL get some type of nunchuck obviously SONY will not let the DS3 combo thing be the final design especially with the outcries its gettin.
2 wands..
each with an analogue.
No nunchuck...
2 full wands. If they did that it'd be perfect :p
@CGI
that controller looks EPIC.....I wish that was PS3's real one!
