By making a joke out of his post, I don't have to point out how dumb it is to say that sony cheated by releasing a slim, when in Japan, Nintendo "cheated" by releasing a black wii. :P

PS3 also has like 9 different models wordwide.

150k - 60k - 56k - 50k - 37k

Okey, 3k less, than mine 40-50k+. Still, not bad as many predicted.
And above Wii(32k), which had a pricecut.
Overall, good for PS3. I wonder at what number it will stabilize.
PS3(5th week after pricecut) above Wii(pricecut and Wii Fit+ release).

PS3 above Wii.

Last week famitsu had ps3 at 50k, Media Create at 39k, VGC 46k.

Wii was 13k on Famisu and VGC, 11k on Media Create.

Probably on VGC Wii and Ps3's sales will be more close...still i think ps3 will be ahead. But as for now you're winning :)

Maybe Japanese people just loves the PS brand, look at psp's sales: they bought more psp 3000 than what the GO model sold in Americas...

Well i expect a slight drop for next week in Japan, and it should probably settle in the 25k range since this is the slowest time of the year, but i suspect that the holidays boost will be much bigger than last year's
