Forums - Sony - Could GT5 have eyetoy and motion control support?

Both NATAL of MS and Motion Control and Eye Toy of Sony will need big software titles for them to be successful.Natal is far of but could the Sony Motion control launching next year with Eye toy be included in GT5.It would surely be a successful launch as GT5 is one of the biggest game,actually one of the very few super elite games.It would Help getting those new motion control in peoples home alot and Wii a run for its money.

Okay,leaving the part that will make the motion control successful,what could be possible with the motion control and the eye toy?

Just discuss the possibilities

Maybe thats why it was delayed

if they sold a motion controller + PS Eye + Sterring wheel with gT5.....it would ACTUALLY sell as GT5 will sell at MASSIVE Levels no PS3 game has sold at...

That's what I think. I made a thread about it but maybe it wasn't a good title.

Oh and also it PSEYE!!!!!!!!!! Like Carl said. It is not the Eye Toy. Eye Toy was for PS2.

I really don't see how the wand can be used in GT5. The eye, yes.

With sixaxis and the eye working together you can have great possibilities.

I think the current eye needs a revamp to compete with natal and releasing such a device with GT5 can sneakily add "controller free" to PS3 whilst stealing MS's thunder.

I still strongly believe the eye2 is on the way.

Eyetoy = PS2

It's the Playstation (PS) Eye. PLAYSTATION EYE. PSEye!!!!

Also, it's already been confirmed that it will use the PLAYSTATION EYE for head tracking. Don't see any use for the wand though.

That's what I'm saying! We're like totally on the same level. LOL just being funny.

But no I think it makes sense. They may not have the tech complete for the tracking, or now they are incorporating it into the game and that's why it is only at 65%. They were saying they could release it when they wanted to. If that were true maybe a few things came up that they liked and wanted to add more to it.

well, i'm not sure the wand is the reason for the delay but GT would be a great fit for the wand and one hell of a launch game.

I agree completely!

This might be the big thing GT5 does that no other racing game has done before.
