Being on the potential list of players would exclude you from those responsibilities. You could call a game early, or delay calling a game to try and push towards a certain goal that you see as potentially benefiting you. It is a conflict of interests for lack of a better term. Defend yourself! Normally I would like to do a whole song and dance where we tease information out, but we are on a clock. So we need to get the information going fast, which means fast accusations. Ironically I might be asleep the rest of the day and unable to defend myself, or change my vote. Make sure to counter with at least two no lynch's if he ends up with some critical role.
