Well, Sony is stealing a part of the 360's sales since coming out w/ the PS3slim. The PS3slim has a lower cost to make and lower price point so it's a big win for Sony. The PS3 and 360 are the 2 consoles that are closest together so if one does quite a bit better or makes a great move, the other will show the biggest loss in sales.   Now, the 360 sales have been up, but that is only because of the price cut.  If the 360 made a cut, and sony did not we would no doubt see significantly better sales than we do now.

 MS will probably do something to counter the PS3slim and its stealing of sales but give them time. Perhaps Natal, or another price cut, or some new franchises could help the 360, but it will be harder for them coming into 2010 and in 2010 itself than 2008 was for the 360...

How is it wrong? elaborate. It's correct until proven otherwise. Microsoft said they were losing month on each console sold, and weakening sales is the statement of the article, I  didn't make it up, unlike your post.

Yeah, this is a bit of a fail. This is an analysis of a little bit of info (reactionary to the price cut numbers that are less than a month old). And the 360 losing money is based on what source?

Of course 360 sales are crashing and burning; it's been three weeks since the price cut. They'll stabilize back around the pre-pricecut levels in a week or two, just like the PS3 will, and everything will end up right back where it was.
