OT: I think you can rightfully compare both games. They are both shooters, they are both on HD consoles and both trying to win over hardcore gamers. They involve alien combat on foreign planets - and both series have been competiting since last generation.

To belittle ODST's success and continue to spout 'KZ2 is so much better than this Halo expansion' is just downright immature.

It got lower scores from haters - but outsold a vastly superior game. Instead of being mad, why not contact the 2M plus folks directly and tell them they've made a mistake? Wait until next week's numbers. If they are still high, are consumers wrong again?

It's about gaming and enjoying it. You have a console? Enjoy it and cease on the hating.

PS3 fanboys want a PS3 exclusive shooter that'll beat/rival Halo in sales.

Xbox 360 fanboys are bitter of the high score on metacritic Killzone 2 recieved.

It's ok to compare them quality-wise. But sales-wise, fanboys need to give it a rest.

What's sad is that the developers of other FPS don't want to, nor can they, kill Halo. But for some reason fanboys or analysts want to label them "Halo Killers." No one can kill Halo, even if the sales were matched, except for Bungie or Microsoft. These other developers just want to make their own game in a genre they like. What hurts them the most is when their game is hyped to be a "Halo Killer," and even if the game sells well, is still seen as a flop by some of the gaming community because it's sales didn't match Halo. That doesn't make it a worse game.

One thing I would like for Halo diehard fans to remember, though. Halo did not invent, nor revolutionize the FPS. It merely polished to a further extent than most had. That's not a bad thing. And it still is fun. I just can't stand fanboys who see it as the start all, end all of FPS.

KillZone 2 is proven to be a better game by who?  Play KillZone 2 for less then a week and I haven't touch again for over 4 months.  I bought into all the KillZone 2 hype and was very disappointed.  IMHO.
