Forums - Gaming - CHRONICLE of Bobby Kotick's ACTIONS, do you HATE him? (activision CEO)

I can't wait till Blizzard leaves Activision taking wow with them leaving Activision to collapse.

I LOVE ICELAND!

I was in gamestop today pre ordering Uncharted 2 and looking at a few games. I picked up Prototype and was tempted to buy it. Walking up to the counter I looked at the case again and bam, I just remembered it's from Activision, so I walked back to were I picked it up and bought NFS Shift instead. Best choice I ever made.

The music game fad is about to run its course -- so the GH franchise has a limited lifespan.

Some day, someone will build a MMO that people want to play like WoW -- and WoW will be RIP.

Developers will start going to other publishers, allowing someone else to come up with the new franchises.

And eventually, sequels lose their zeal.

So this strategy will work today -- but could make for a poor tomorrow.

Bolded is true, but I'll bet that MMO will be by Blizzard. I wouldn't be too worried about the Blizzard side of the company.

The console games, on the other hand... GH & CoD won't be on top for very long, with the way they're handling the series.

This jackass is going to make it SO MUCH FUN to watch the collapse of Activision.

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.

He really needs to be kicked out before he does any more damage.

Not to the gaming industry, of course. Music games are becoming outdated and out of style, CoD won't be popular forever, and he's not even sparing BLIZZARD (the bastard). No, the only danger Kotick *spits* poses is to his own company. He will run it into the ground, while making a hefty profit, and then retire.

Activision can die as a company for all I care, as long as Infinity Ward and Blizzard are sent to safety. I can live without the occasional good non-IW non-Blizzard game, such as Prototype.

imho a LOT of publishers think this way if not every one of them

the difference is this guy will actually say it out loud tho

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

Wii Friend Code: 4094-4604-1880-6889

this guy is repusilve, and the worst thing of all, is you and I will still buy his products

seriosly where is the Activision / Blizzard boycott?

no, gamers want to play Guitar Hero 5, Modern Warfare 2, WOW: Cataclysm, Starcraft II and so on, but if their was ever a major boycott of these games by gamers, then he would probably STFU.

So Activision is run by Satan, and Rock Band got the Beatles.

Looks like I'm done with Guitar Hero.

Hey guys, was there anything else Activision did that I should care about?

I'm gonna get StarCraft 2, but I think other than that I won't be giving Activision a dime.

You all don't understand >.
Bobby is simply trying to get everyone united by becoming the object of hate and fear, he's trying to take on all the sins of the gaming world >.

Blizzard and Infinity Ward need to run. As far as possible.
