Lol...you win the "most self indulging post of the day" award. Games don't appeal to ME...therefore they are not important!

Erhhh, no it just made me realize two things. I like some games that have low scores, for good reasons because there are some big flaws but they are still incredibly fun.
1. Scores don't matter at all.
I also happen to like some games that got great reviews but because a couple of ''haters'' or ''extreemly critical'' people gave it an 7.5 those games that also got many 9.5s suddenly get taken down from 89 average list.
2. Metacritic scores are unimportant because they also count reviews that mention flaws you haven't noticed or simply don't see as flaws.
So I was using my own experience to make a statement about metacritic scores, but aren't we all talking about our own experience here? None of us can be considered the ''average gamer'' for the simple fact that we participate on this site. We don't know what others might think so I thought it would be useful to explain what my ''metacritic scores are unimportant'' comment was based on. I can't be sure ofcourse if others feel the same but when it is obvious we are not talking about facts then I don't think it isn't necesary to add ''imo'' before everything we say.
EDIT: WHat I'm trying to say is that up until know I always thought metacritic scores were important but I realized that individual reviews are far more important because you can see how the score was decided. Where as the metacritic averages are based on reviews that might look at gaming from a compleetly different point of view.
