SO Ps3 sales have crossed wii in EU this week, they were 77K - as of the 14th oct data

 + PS3 has reached 5.01 Million

 Now I have 3 questions:

How will the figure go down in % (e.g 50% drop...)?

How long will the NEXT 5 Million take?

Are you happy for it?..lol

Where to from here? About 5.2 million.

Well done to the PS3, though. Outselling the Wii (just) is a huge triumph.

I'm happy. It can't go down by much, Christmas is coming and also lots of games. This is good news.

I expect the PS3 to sell over 2M more by the end of the year. So, 7-8M by end of 2007.

Optimistic predictions for 2008 (Feb 5 2008): Wii = 20M, PS3 = 14M, X360 = 9.5M

The sales will drop by (at least) 1/3 [edit: of what they gained] in the next week followed by a similar drop the week following ...

The PS3 will be sitting at 7 to 8 Million as of January 1st 2008 and it will take (roughly) 5 months to break the 10 Million barrier (Mid May to Mid June).

Meh ...

I feel it WON'T go down that much because of PES 08 Bundled with 40GB launch soon

It should sell 2 million more during xmas... making it 7 million + for this year

The xbox outsold the wii by a larger margin on a couple of weeks ago in others... that was far more surprising, since the xbox is not very popular on europe.

In fact, seems like more bad news for Sony. Im sure they expected more than this
