Forums - Nintendo - Need Gamecube. Fast.

I know that this might sound pathetic, but i'm having real problems with finding a new Gamecube(my old one broke down). I need one to be able to play all those games i have, and unfortunately, my gc and games a ntsc while my Wii is pal. Can anyone point me to a Euro shop, internet auction that has normal prices for the GC and ships to other european countries? Thank you in advance if you find anything.

I bought a working GC at a garage sale for $5, quite the deal...I'd sell it for about $30 perhaps...I don't know if I want to go through the trouble of shipping though. Customs forms suck.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I also have 30 NTSC gamecube games I can't play on my PAL Wii, but then I still have my PAL Gamecube with a Freeloader disc to change the region so maybe you dont need a NTSC Gamecube to play them on.

Well i do have freeloader as well. I actually didn't let people know all the details i suppose, as long as the console isn't japanese, i want it :D.

@kenobii, right now, i'm desperate, as long as it reads discs, i'll survive the occasional 70$ price and postage cover deal :D. It'll still be cheaper than what i have to pay in Poland.

You might want to check out Ebay as well. You might just find a working GC for $5 + shipping if you don't mind searching around on there.

Well...my only concern is whether the laser will last for long. That's why i have my fears about buying used gamecubes. A new one would be great, but they cost heck of a lot right now, especially in England.

Wait... you know you can get that gamecube repaired free of charge if it's the laser right?  If it's anything else Nintendo charges just 50$ to repair the unit.  You should call them.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

But Nintendo doesn't have a hq in Poland meaning i would have to send it to a foreign country. So i'll end up paying money even if the repair is for free.

Edit: Just found out that amazon.com and amazon.co.uk don't allow video game deliveries to Poland. Crap.
