i wouldn't say its crap the great GT gameplay is still there, its just the lack of a career mode.

10 years ago....SONy had no competitions, you wanted electronics you got SONY Its interesting to see how the great fall......& whats even more interesting is how they try to go back up. |
Sorry but you're talking nonsense. Sony have always had competitors in all fields. The big problems have been the cheap knockoff companies from China etc. Sony's turnover was actually at record levels before the recession.

Looking at consoles only, the PS1 and PS2 dominated everywhere. Particularly in the UK, actually. 3/4 of the barriers on the side of the football pitch were PS2 adverts, ads came on TV all the time, there were billboards and buses, and pretty much nobody knew what an Xbox was.
@alanshearer
not really, SONY used to dominatE:
1. music with the walkman
2. Games with Playstation
3. Consumer Electronics
SONY as a brand was at the top......if you wanted an electronic item, be it TV's & so on.....people usually said, get SONY.

GT:PSP will be the last time the GT franchise will have bumper car elements which in turn made gameplay suck......but now Gran Turismo 5 with its damage system will finally be a true racing simulator.
N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!
I still only see PS3 commercials during late night hours (9 PM+) and I haven't seen PSP commercials that often as well. I was at Best Buy earlier this week picking up my other laptop from repairs and noticed that they still had a large sum of PS3's on the higher shelves. I should've taken a picture of them on my DSi camera
However, there still were a lot of Wii and Xbox 360 next to the PS3 models. Could have been an extra surplus they had.

finally good seeing sony advertising like they should of been doing a long time ago
we need sony to advertise like that in america
