What bogus scores.

The game has a short campaign and if you already own Halo 3 then as far as multiplayer goes you get 1 new game mode. Yet it is priced like a new full game.

The value alone should mean it gets no more than an 8.

I endorse this post.

What a troll. Have you even played the game? MGS4 had a short campaign (minus the cut scenes), should that have gotten an 8?

This is an interesting case of brandpower.

A normal, non-brand, game who delivers the same ( a new gamemode and a 6/7 hour campaign) would be hurt in its score but this is halo - The XBOX360 best brand.

Yeah...umm...no. Game is great and deserves 9+. It feels similar, yet different. Its quite graceful in the way it delivers gameplay, story and vocie acting... It doesn't hammer you with shaky camera, yelling, explosions...but its more respectful to Halo.

The war rages on, humans are losing...and it sucks. No one wants to be at war on the human side...Unlike other games which always show how war kicks ass and become cliche'd macho jerk fests.

Gameplay is tight as a drum, and the city hub is very creepy.

While the campaign may be short(7 to 8 hours unless you jsut run through the city), it still blows away something like resident evil 5 or Gears 2 in replayability. There are so many ways to take out an enemy in Halo and 4 player coop. Most games tell you "shoot the red square when alien opens its mouth"

Hmmm...the game seems to be pretty short around 3-5 hours long according to this preview by xbox gamer MAG.

"That said, we still have high hopes that it will be a pretty damned awesome three to five hours and the multiplayer will most certainly be worth a spin."

Good score. Me thinks it will come in between 83~90 on meta.

I suggest you learn what trolling is.  The campaign is short, that is a fact.  The multiplayer brings only 1 new game mode to Halo 3 owners, that is a fact.  The game is sold at full price of new 360 games.  Another fact.

If you dig my forum posts up on MGS4 you'd see I really do not rate the game highly.  I have criticised that games length, though the multiplayer was entirely new at least, unlike ODSTs.

1. Campaign is as long as RE5...if not logner when you consider in replayability.

2. Firefight is awesome and will eat up hours and hours of your time

3. Halo MP is considered the best around and this is more of the same. This includes all the maps ever made plus 3 new ones. So someone that did not buy Halo 3 mpas online is getting 12 new maps! Feel free to spend 800 + 800 pts and buy 9 of them separatly...thts around 20 bucks. If the going rate for 9 of the 12 maps is 20 bucks, surely the game which is logner that RE5 is worth 60 no?

Campaign has co-op which extends the value dramatically = fact

This "only" 1 new game mode is a critical selling point for the game like Horde is for GeoW2 = fact

Multiplayer brings 13 multiplayer maps, which weren't on the Halo 3 disc. Worth: $25 = fact

Game isn't sold at full price in Europe = fact
