I'm getting sick of this argument. Really. People are only attacking the games that are PS3 exclusive and saying it's smart financially, and will help the development company. Well, let's go after the 360. Why don't they port Lost Planet and Dead Rising. Or BioShock? If what you guys keep saying is true, then EVERY 3rd party game SHOULD be multiplatform. But that's not the case.
So quit attacking the PS3 for having a "low-install base" (even though it's higher than the 360's during this time in its' first year) because exclusivity sales consoles. Case in point: MGS2 and FFX pushed the PS2 beyond the Dreamcast, even when people were still claiming that the PS2 was "too expensive" and "it has no games". Another case is with Halo (I know, it's 1st party). Halo skyrocketed 360 sales not only in America, but IN JAPAN ALSO. Imagine if it had been multiplatform. What do you think would happen?
To stranne: "What budget does this game have? And how many copies do they expect to sell on PS3? I think they might be in for a real shock."
Like I said above, if the big budget game is great, people will pick up PS3s left and right to play the game, and the devs will recoup their costs.
I swear 360 fanboys act like they have never seen what exclusivity does for a console, even though Halo pushed original Xbox systems, as did GT for PS2
