First of all, let me just say this game looks decent and has beautiful graphics. I will probably rent it if it gets good reviews.

However, it's being touted as one of the PS3's big upcoming exclusives. I don't see this game selling well at all. There just isnt a huge market for these type of interactive movies. While I'm sure the story will be good, the gameplay is extremely limited and I even hesitate to call it a "Game".

It's also releasing in a period when a lot of other big games are coming out. I don't see how this won't be a flop.

I'd say over a million seeing as how you don't really have to be a gamer to play this.

Well it's a new Ip and it's a lot different to your usual game so I think it won't be a big seller either. I'm still on the side lines about getting this game.

CGI is not gonna be a happy camper when he comes in here methinks.

But only the Hardc0rxe gamers have a Ps3.

I want to apologize to CGI in advance for this, but this is possible leaning towards probable. It has awesome niche game written all over it.

I dont really think anyone expects it to be a big sales monster.

If Killzone 2, a decent shooter can barely muster 2 million, a game like Heavy Rain won't make a million.

Which is a great shame because I have no doubt it's going to be BETTER than K2

I agree with the OP except for the sales prediction. Heavy Rain will sell between 750,000-1 million (and that's a great number for this tipe of game).
