^He said it was your opinion. Which it is...

You think COD and Half Life are better than Halo, others think the opposite. No one was saying anything about you not being able to have that opinion. They merely stated "IYO".

Sales and reviews aren't my opinion.

No one said they were....

Negligable differences still.

Say for instance if COD sold 1.2 M and Halo sold 1M, would you really consider that to be much of a difference? 96 vs 94%, especially when they came out 3 years apart is again not much of a difference really.

The reason for the balloon is that you appear to be anal retentive over this, so I thought it would offer some relief.

Red- Winning is winning, no matter by what distance.

And maybe i am being a bit tight-arsed... but you would be aswell if you just got wrongfully hung.

Thats a strange way of looking at things but ok.

Im glad we agree on something.

If you think there's any difference between a 94 and a 96, you must be joking. I mean really, what's the difference between rating something a 9.4 and a 9.6? Absolutely nothing. Why must everything be absolutely better than something else? Can't we admit that they're both great games? Also, comparing multiplat sales to exclusives sales is pointless.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

""The sound and graphics in Halo 3 ODST are amazing. The soundtrack makes you feel like you are really in the game. The music gets sad when you are all alone, and it picks up when you get into combat. The new silenced guns sound like they should, but they are just a tad louder. The graphics in Halo 3: ODST are amazing, too. They have that sense of realism while keeping it futuristic. When activating the VISR you can see more details in the graphics, making them amazing!""

did he just say 3 time "amazing" and praised the outdated gfx (everybody agree here) ?

FAIL ...

No, Halo 3 does look pretty good.

It does have one feature though, it can render up to FOUR crosshairs on the same TV at the same time! This participation factor is really only understood by those whom live in the Nintendo or Microsoft forums, its a cultural issue.

Its not only a cultural issue its also social. You have to have 4 guys who like to play sitting side by side, maybe holding hands.

O shiz....how old are you again?

N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

This will sell 5 million in US alone even it got 0.0 review. Why American love Halo so much ? Gears and L4D are much better.

Because its pretty much the best FPS series to ever grace the earth.  A better question is why do people who don't own a 360, and probably never played Halo, love to troll Halo so much?

I wont get into sales, or reviews...

But CoD and Half Life > Halo.

Let's see:

http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbox360/callofduty2 :  89

http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbox360/callofduty3 :  82

http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbox360/callofduty4modernwarfare :  94

http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbox360/callofdutyworldatwar :  84

vs.

http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbox360/halo3 :  94

OMG!!1! You're totally right.  CoD completely shits all over Halo when it comes to review scores.

As a PS3 fan, are you sure you want to start the sales argument for determining quality, because I don't think you do.  Anyway, If you don't care about ODST then why post in the thread?  Take your flamebait and troll comments somewhere else.

Don't all halo games get high scores?

@ De85

Stop bringing it up, me and squill already discussed it.

And i do care about ODST, i have never said otherwise as far as i can remember.

And I made the thread... its natural for me to post it.

I've made one prior post in this topic, don't tell me to stop as I were repeatedly trying to start shit in here.  I just saw your post which implied that Halo was blown away by CoD saleswise and felt a need to correct it.

I didn't read your entire conversation with Squilliam so if you came to the same conclusion I did then I apologize for beating a dead horse.  If you did not that's fine too, but it means I have every right to discuss it further and I make no apology

We did sort it.

No need for an apology.
