Seriously though, of course we all know that the Xbox 360 is a strong attraction for FPS console gamers, but to say that they don't know there are other games except shooters is...well I don't mean to be rude when I say this, but to say that is asinine.

Probably,...but that's in NA...it's going to be clsoer in PAL and in Japan, PS3 will probably have the clear advantage. OVerall...I'd say it's going to be 1.7:1 maybe 2:1, but I don't think any higher WW. The thing people will say is...well...the 360 has more consoles on the market....for the developer...why would that matter...it cost them more to develop for the PS3...it's not there concern that 360 has an edge in console with gamer. Also...as some would have us believe...quite a bit of those 360 sales are RROD owners bying them for a second time.

^^The simple fact is that the x360 do indeed have a much bigger userbase. This is in itself the biggest factor and some seem to overlook this with lame excuses.
That what makes the OP a bit dooh.
In ALL multiplat games this userbase gives the x360 a massive advantage regardless of genre.
The fact that the PS3 can outsell and go close to x360 on some titles is in itself pretty remarkable IMO.
My x360s PRODed and I got free replacements so the "buying for a second time" doesn't quite make sense to me...but maybe I was the only one and got lucky with replacements so you could be right.

The replacement thing isn't me...but most of the 360s advantage is focused in NA and the UK, but you are correct when the PS3 sell better in NA...however rarely that is. Also, if it cost the developer the same development cost to produce a PS3 game as a 360 game...it doesn't matter...but it's been reported to cost more so, less/same sales equates to lower ROI.
