I want to know how many of you on VGC SOLD your phat & got a PS3 slim as an exchange? (Please say NO to this....why would you?)

How of you PLAN to trade in your PHAT/sell it for a SLIM in the "Future"?

Also what % of the PS3 slim sales so far do you think are "Phat PS3 owners REBUYING a PS3 because the slim is out"

SOme of you may think the question is stupid, but some people on VGC BELIEVE Most of the sales were from rebuys, some believe A LOT were from rebuys

i have the phat and im def. going to be picking up the slim soon enough, i prefer the 120gb and the fact thats its smaller....plus my ps3 is getting old

Despite the fact that I only have a 20 gig hard drive, why the hell would I give up my PS2 backwards compatibility? The hard drive is easily replaceable, but I haven't had any space issues yet.

I know 2 of my friends are rebuying the ps3 slim, but anecdotal evidence is completely useless.

I have the old one. I have no plans on getting a slim one.

I really don't see much reason for there to be more than a small percentage of people trading fat for slim. It's not like any new features were added. I know Gamestop has a deal where you get $150 for your fat towards a slim, but that's not really that great of an incentive IMO.

I'm getting a slim but for my younger brother. I don't see the point of buying another one if the one I have works fine.
