It just crashed at the end of Crime Scene. Screen went blank and some random loud rumbling noise started. It paused fine, and everything.

crashed for me there too... bottom of the ridge.

For me, it was just before I got back into the car after investigating the scene. Instead of going straight to the car, I walked up to the smoking journalists, and the game EXPLODED (not literally).

I've had no crashes, but sound cut outs, and that happened only once and at the beginning of the game post patch. Without that patch, I'm not noticing any of the bugs, and of course I could tell you, I've played it non-stop since Day 1.

Going back in now, take that advice though. Sony is working on a fix, though they've said the problem isn't so big.

Are you referring to the sound and glitch problems or the loading problems? I haven't experienced any othe the sound problems and nothing major with any glitches aside from some rare screen tearing, but I can't even load my save data which is a huge problem. If this game wasn't so awesome maybe I wouldn't be so pissed, but right now I have a $60 blu ray disc that doesn't work....

Hmmm.....load issues aren't as frequent, though I've come across a few that have mentioned it. The fix, I assume, is coming for just everything in general. Hopefully, it fixes whatever issues you're having.

Yea, apparently they're working on the issue, but damnit I keep thinking about this game and how I'm not able to play it at all.......This is the bullshit......

@ Wagram

Work on fixing your posts with spoiler alerts, some people may not know how many endings there are. Thanks.

How is saying that the game has a certain amount of endings mean spoilers?

Most games have 1 ending, that a spoiler too?

I don't get it. I haven't said anything about any of the endings that are even remotely related to any spoilers.

I took my time the first time. I did extremely well and really enjoyed it.

I'm taking my time. Haven't gone "back" to reload once. Probably won't when I'm playing through to actually play through (not for trophies). My one wish (outside of freezing issues and audio drop outs) is if they had used native English speakers.

It's not that bad (not like RE1 bad) but the timing on deliveries are messed up, the accents for the same characters change (like sometimes the same character says origami in different ways) and it detracts from the story a little bit to me.

Outside of that, I will have no complaints once the technical bugs are fixed....and screen tearing, that drives me up the wall!

My game hasn't "stuttered" but I get the sound cut out a bit, which really sucks, listening to dialogue then... what?  huh? son of a ...

Ok, Spoilers below:

I think they did a good job on the voice acting, but seriously, Scott Sheppard as a kid?  Why the hell does he have an accent and his brother/father do not?  Also Why does Scott (Shelby) as an adult not have an accent?

And who the hell at Quantic picked the name John Sheppard?!  Am I the only one who had a craving to play ME1/ME2 while playing HR?  lol Or maybe they thought that this game would kill ME2, hence the reference to the name?  Or maybe someone at Quantic really likes Stargate?

I know John Sheppard is the main character in Stargate Atlantis, I (Think - I may be wrong) that that is the default name for Commander Sheppard in ME..

All in all awesome game.

So...should I delete the patch? Will I still earn trophies, and will I be able to stay connected to PSN?

due to Amazon being slow, i will probably get it on Monday or tuesday.

my friend got it yesterday, and i saw he was playing it on my friends list. When i went to bed at midnight, he was still playing it.
i know him well, and i have never seen this man get up on a saturday before Noon. Today, at 9:30 he was online playing heavy rain!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
