Forums - Nintendo - wii owners focus too much on the negatives

@savior - why do u hunt down then post all negativity..Most anti wii threads are posted by Wii fans

.......What?

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

This negative started ever since the Wii came out, specially with Wii versions of games. the called "crappy port" vicious cycle.

It started with PS2 ports, then PSP ports, and a ground up B-team development. The results are games that were really crappy and many Wii gamers that were excited to play these games ended up with the biggest dissapointments. as time went by, new games arrive that were letdowns for being the quick cash-in-port with nothing new to offer. Until the point of making many Wii owners angry and not interested in the game whatsoever, even if this time the developer is being serious after learning the lesson.

CoD: MFR might become a great game, but the stigma remains to many gamers (a two year game, no new exclusive features to compensate for the long time, releasing the same time as MW2 on the Hd systems). While many gamers can fogive and forget, there are others that do not want anything to do with the development company.

What many developers and publishers do not understand (or probably ignore) is that you MUST NOT piss off or let down a customer or a potential one, once you lose customers, is hard to get them back

But getting pissed off because it's a two year old game? If it was a castoff like Scarface, I could understand that. but CoD4 is considered one of the best games of this generation.

I don't see how it's stopped being that just because there is the sequel coming out.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

i don't know about that, OP.
The one thing I hear the most from wii gamers is something along the lines of
"eh, _______ doesn't bother me, it's fun"

no no no.

if you look at past cod4 threads. all you hear is excuses. it is like all 3rd party games, they hype them up then they complain about something sucking hence justifying why they didn't buy it.

no wii speak = no buy

no lan = no buy

no more then 12 online player = no buy

the game is old = no buy

hell where was all that complaining when RE4 was remade for the 4th time?

well speaking from both sides of the fences of HD and Wii, I can say I do enjoy the gfx of the COD games, but yet I found COD:WAW even though it laked stuff much more fun to play on wii with a remote. Now COD4 is a WAY BETTER GAME. SO just imagine how good it will be on Wii.

Amen.

Not a big loss, most people on CoD4 that I've encountered over PSN don't use headsets anyway.

The only time this would matter is with Clan matches, and this is more fair then unfair as everyone is on the same playing field (which is not the case sometimes over PSN)

There are some that really get pissed off. while there are others that will give the game a chance.

The problem with expanded audience is that they do not forgive and forget easily

Oh, some complained about RE4 when it was annouced for the Wii. Just that they shut up when it was clear it was the best version.

Actually, one advantage that RE4 had was the extra content the GC version never had but the PS2 version did, not just the better controls
