Excellent water. I hope they use this engine or something similar for BioShock 2.

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick

Nice engine ... it doesnt looks much at the moment , I agree , but if it will work well , than most will be satisfied :)

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

That vid of City Hunter made me laugh out loud.

Now if that kind of stuff can also be done with other genres.

It doesn't look that impressive at all. A few ripples in the water, big whoop. Where's the full on splashing that one would expect if he was jumping out widly in shallow water like that. The stuff would be flying everywhere.

Who knows whether this engine is good or not, but this usage seems very wasted.

It looks cool imo. I noticed jin' roundhouse kick where you actually see his hips rotate to get at whoever a little more. I'm going to be the 1st in line when this comes out.

I'm kind of with you there.  It adds to the ambiance but little else.

I don't think anyone will be playing Tekken 6 to stare at the splashing water.

Waverace on the Cube had pretty good looking water... easily comparable to this.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.
