@OP you're missing Heavenly Sword, which is still today one heck of a beautiful game. Also, MLB The Show 2009 looks amazing, as well as WipEout HD Fury.

Ok, this is not a fanboy statement. Why do xbox owners starts calling u a fanboy when you speak the truth. This is fact. Blu ray allows much more storage and the higher the textures, more disc space is required to save this. The higher the textures in a game, the more disc space you require. If you were to use higher textures and have a smaller disc size to save on, you need to shorten the game. You could make the game look longer by making it harder. GOW3 will have five times more textures than gears 2. Is this because the ps3 has a better processer or graphics card? No. This is possible because of blu ray. I believe that if xbox 360 got a blu ray, the graphics on it would be just as awesome. For the ps3, this is just the beginnning. Look at heavy rain? future games will have even better graphics.

MGS 4 is one of the best looking games of all times. It took up almost all of the space on a 50 gb blu ray. Kojima could not fit his game on a 25GB blu ray.

great thread, i agree 100 %, 3rd party games are not there because the 360 cant quit do it, and developers want the game to look the same on both systems, which i find to be bull shit, let the best win

if you really do some looking, bluray is a big part of thr ps3 having superior graphics, but it does also have a better graphics card, and a stronger processor, when it comes to tflops the ps3 does 30x as much, plus having the 8 processors to do different tasks, instead of 3 also makes a big difference, if you really understand tech specs for computers you can see how superior the ps3 is in every way to the 360, i own both, they are still both great systems, the ps3 just has many advantages
