Yikes, epic fail. Remember when Leo-J implied that the screens looked as good as Forza 3? Sure, he says that wasn't his intention, but that just shows you that gameplay>>>>>>>>>>>>graphics.

Epic failure here. This is now a company that has made a game that isn't good, and they can NEVER change that.

Do you actually think that analogy works? Better one - No career mode in GT is like no career mode in any sports game. Football, Baseball, Soccer, ect ect... and for a portable system exhibition games is fine.

Career more in such games is crucial, Exhibition games are fine in multiplayer mode but after a while they get boring. There is no excuse for PD they stripped their title out of a pretty standard mode. 


Woah... woah.. woah... you think Exhibition games get boring but career doesnt? All a career is is a string of exhibition games... And I end up simulating parts of the season anyways.

Well that's saying any Single Player Campaign is just a string of Skirmishes without any story that connects it toghether(in other games). Career mode gives you a sense of continuity , accomplishment and influence over the game, it gives game more depth

Even if you not going to use it much , Such mode is so basic in gaming i still do not understand why they scrapped it from the game (im actually pissed off cause i wanted to buy it now i got doubts even tho i rarely trust reviews) i would understand if its very simple on a handheld but stil it should be there.  


Your thought process is so narrow minded it isn't even funny... If I have a game like Uncharted then NO the skirmishes are nothing like a string of levels in a campaign. The two style of games arent even comparable

Well i never played uncharted but imagine Zelda with just Dungeons or Halo Campaign with no sense of direction or story, It's not exactly this same but that's what lack of any career mode means to me it just takes away depth from the game.

It's like taking away master league from PES, it would just make single player experience crap.

Whats the point of a career?

Playing to win

Whats the point of an exhibition?

Playing to win

What's the point of a campaign?

Playing different level outlays and get through the story and become a the hero

Whats the point of a skirmish?

Play to win.

I see that that is all they had to gripe about it. Driving is classic GT is all I wanted to hear/read.

I think that what they were really after with this game, unfortunately the old school fans were expecting a classic GT.

I think that what they were really after with this game, unfortunately the old school fans were expecting a classic GT.

I think those reviews implied that this game wasn't even good if you were expecting GT-lite.

This one is a flop, and it will become more apparent as the reviews roll in, I suspect.

^^ not really, if you see IGN review, they gave everything above 6 or 7, but a 4 to presentation due to lack of career mode.

Zen - It's 7 in favor of PSP GT vs. 3 who are on the so-so side... how does this translate into "Not a good game"

This is just terribLe, the mobile gaming got two bad games handed to them today, Scribblenauts got a 7 too, these terrible developers need to get back to making good games again.

Also, we need to stop hyping crap that we only assume will be good, and spend our time actually playing the games already released.

Waaaay to many people here haven't played the games we spend most of the time discussing.

Then how do you applaud judging a game YOU haven't played either?

Well, that's simple, His lack of trust in the review system. But, not today though.
