How wrong you are. If you're going to give people a hard time, then get your facts straight. Lair was developed by Factor 5, yet published by Sony, making it a second party title.

And everything else I guess was fine. But since the Wii has a far larger userbase, it has higher expectations. 

Did it have the 3rd party support that the ps3 did? Somehow people keep forgetting that everyone dumped the Wii in the beginning and it was a little later that devs realized that they can actually get some money.

Well if things are as Soriku has said, then what i said about Lair holds ground. If sony had only the publishing to do with the game, calling it anything other than 3rd party is actually ridiculous. I understand calling retro studio games 2nd party as nintendo influences the developement of the games but in this case....forget it.

 To tell you the truth. This is the only site I know of that Sony or MS fan boys hate Nintendo.  Other than that no other site goes on about Nintendo.  Maybe at VG due to  Nintendo is winning - there is more Nintendo fans here... I dunno? Hell why do all Sony Fans get banned? 

 Not many people outside of this site actually focus on the Wii being apart of the "Next Gen War",  the real comp as you said is between Sony and MS.  Now that Nintendo have numbers, games etc... they are a real threat. But it is waaaaayyy to early my friend to say Nintendo has won.  You don't know how the market will flow.  I myself think Wii and Ps3 will be very close.  I think Wii two won;t have any legs.  Kinda like a new band that comes out with a killer song.  The next one flops as it has to be better- due to expectation.   If not the future Wii's will be the same old.   

As I see it:

Microsoft and Sony will be fighting it out over the next 2 years.  Microsoft will be fighting it's hardest to maintain it's current market share, while Sony requires to eat into their marketshare.  Nintendo on the other hand will quietly be pushing up and up.

Microsoft have to maintain their NA lead and have good solid sales in the OR.  Japan is a lost cause to them.  On the other hand, Sony have to bring some fight to the US, continue to grow, even if it's a reasonably slow rate in Japan and get stronger in OR.

It's the Japanese factor that I see being decisive in this fight.  I'm sure around 25m home consoles were bought last generation in Japan.  Currently only around 5m have been bought this generation and if Sony can get at least a third of these sales with the Wii winning the Japan.  This would account for a solid 8m sales in Japan.  This 8m will make the difference.  But Sony need to be pushing in all regions to break into 2nd spot and I don't see this happening until the end of 2009 at least. 

Sony is definitely in a hard place at the moment. I personally think they should stop worrying about fighting Microsoft and try to stop the bleeding thats happening right now the reason they are in so much trouble right now is because they tried to get into a money fight with Microsoft and surprise Microsoft won. I really want to know the logic that said lets sell a system at a 200 dollars loss when we make maybe 10 dollars maximum off a game so in other words until all the early adopters buy 20 games Sony won't even break even much less turn a profit which is of course the goal. They have strong 1st party starting to build I can see they were trying to follow one move out of Nintendo's play book to make some more money since loss leading was really eating into the profit they were making despite their dominance in market share relying on only 3rd party licensing fees to bring them money. I would worry mostly about building the first party which can make very good money done right even in 3rd place and getting the console manufacturing cost down as fast as possible to at least being even on each one sold. The goal would be to cut the losses retain what fans they can and build up a small warchest to give the next Gen a decent shot with maybe doing something like making PSEye a packin instead of a peripheral so that it could actually work. If they drop another 2-3 billion dollars in a pointless war with Microsoft for 2nd place even with success I could see it making their shareholders uneasy and worse if it fails I do think it could doom the Playstation brand. There is no shame in 3rd place where you make money it keeps you alive but if they continue to drop billions in a money war with Microsoft I do not see good things coming out of it.

Maybe because they're (the ones who got banned) extremely aggressive towards the casual baby-fad wii gamers?? Because they prefer REAL games? Because Nintendo is destroying the games industry... and so on and so on...

Most, if not all of them got banned for a very appropriate reason.

Wii fanboys are annoying and blinded aswell, but at least theyr'e not dismissive towards others.
