Forums - Sony - God of War PS2 remakes on PS3

I've noticed that Amazon has God of War 1 and 2 on a single bluray with PSN trophy support and updated to 720P http://www.amazon.com/God-War-Collection-Playstation-3/dp/B002NN7AKU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1252952139&sr=1-1

I'm wondering if this is a one time thing or will other PS2 games will be remade?  I'd like to see Ico and Shadow of the Colossus remade.

Any opinions?

You are very late...

Anyway... this is the only thing of it's kind announced... Word on the street though, Capcom seems interested in this.

Hmm, I guess I haven't been kept up to date with the forum.

Anyways, I'm guessing this could be a test case so that if it sells well enough other games could be re-released.

This great (if old) news, but what realy gets me is that Nintendo gets chewed out for doing pretty much the same thing with Metroid Prime Trilogy, yet Sony gets lauded for doing it with God of War.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

nintendo its bundling only. the "new play" version together.

sony is making it HD antialiasing 60fps. >_>

Sony's put both games in HD, added anti-aliasing, and added trophies, and retails the whole package for $40.

How much is MPT?

The graphics will be improved unlike Metroid Prime Trilogy as the Wii is basically a re-housed Gamecube.

$50 for three games.

@dobby985: They also improved the graphics and gave the first two games their own versions of Achievements.  Not only that, but they vastly improved the controls.

Anyway, I don't want to derail the thread.  It just seems hypocritical is all.
