Forums - General - Alexie's Workout Plan!

Who here actually puts a reasonable amount of time from their day into keeping in shape? Does anyone here have a routine that you would like to share? Or do any of you do small stuff to stay in shape?

Mine is a little intense so if you wanna hear it I'll share it, but it is a little creepy, lol.

I was just out for a run this morning actually.

But as for a good routine. You ever heard of the Crazy Russian Pushup workout? Iv'e never actually kept it up the whole way through, but I usually stick with it for a few days at a time and it's really had some results.

At the beginning of the week, when you wake up, do as many pushups as you possibly can. From then on, that's your number. And each day, you do a percentage of that number at certain intervals in the day. Here's the chart.

So if you can do 30 pushups monday morning, each hour after that you do 10 pushups. On tuesday you'd do 15 pushups every hour, and so on and so on. It can be hard to stick with (especially at work) but damn it's incredible. I really do mean to stick with it for at least two weeks sometime.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Well I ususally dont work out much during school , I dont have time , but I still walk ~ 8-10 km/day , so that helps me a lot . During holidays I ususally make some minor stuff like 20 pushups/day , standups etc. but I mostly loose weight biking ...

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

I'll go to the gym, use the exercise bike until my ass chafes, then lift weights. If I have energy after that, I'll go on the treadmill.

Buthow often Montana? Everyone on this forum has probably attemped to work out at some point but who keeps up with it?

I usually do some workout in the morning, some abdominal exercise and a bit of weightlifting. Nothing heavy, as I have a bit of heart problems and I don't want to be muscular, just toned.

you can't start a thread called Alexie's workout Plan, and then not actually include your workout plan.

Pretty much every day I either ride a bike for 30-40 minutes OR lift weights + push ups and crunches. Nothing to intense, but enough to prevent me from loosing muscle mass while i try to loose weight.

So far i've lost 10 lb while only loosing

I used to do a lot of martial arts and was on the alternate team for my school's Ranger's Challenge competition.  I could have gotten on ESPN if I was a little better =)

It sounds like you aren't content to be flabby which is great, but you don't wanna do anything that gets you injured.

I walk to work in the mornings. The hospital where I work is about a couple of miles down the road from where I live so its not a problem. Plus, I'm a patient escort so I'm always moving my legs in the hospital when transporting patients to tests (x-ray, CT scan) and all that good stuff. So I'm well active and fit.

stof, I might end up doing what you suggested above. If it works then expect me to keep you guys updated on my progress.
