What works for some does not work for others. You fail yet again! Many people actually find that better keyboards and mice give them an advantage. Just because somebody CAN win with a regular mouse does NOT mean that it gives them a better tacticle advantage. Iask you, when was the last time you played Fatality or any of the pros online? What they do is completely irrelevant to my point, that being that a better mouse and keyboard generally gives a person a pretty significant advantage.

Once again, on the graphics front, what may work for you, does not work for everybody else. Many peiople find that better graphics = a better experiance. But once again, thank you for solidifying the point that consoles have PCs on the graphics front. Toned down graphics = better skills to you, so the console players have better skills. Also, the console players don't have to upgrade to get the best gameplay experiance. Everybody gets the same experiance, and it's all plug and play, unlike PCs.

@Smidlee, Fight sticks do give players an advantage,but that is just entering the console market, I blame PCs for that shit. Anyway, Keyboards and Mice are actually a detriment to console gaming so your point there...is naturally moot.

I'm jsut gonna go beat my head against the wall instead of continuing to argue with someone like you.

I don't get why you want to blame PC. When it comes to console you are at the mercy of Sony, Mircosoft, Nintendo as they want to control everything. What I find surprising is Sony is a little more friendly toward PC then Microsoft is.  Of course for the most part all three of them want you to buy and use their products as they get a cut from them.

From my experience keyboards and mouse practically lasts forever as I have yet to have any to stop working including my old ball mouses. Yet I had a pile of console controllers to wear out. (including PC flight sticks)

With PC gamers has greater freedom not only in choosing which controls we want to use but also in modding games. It's true that some will abuse this freedom yet I still like this freedom.

 Someone  else claimed that  PC gaming is dead . If this is true then consoles isn't far behind since consoles have greatly benefited from the PC.

I think it's because people hold it in their hands, and are rougher on it ... squeezing, throwing, etc.

I've personally heard people say that PC gaming is irrelivant, BECAUSE it is dying, which is a faulty assumption BASED on a faulty assumption.

Personally, I think both platforms are best for specific games.

I prefer consoles for RPGs, Action/Adventure, 2D platforming and Fighting games. Mostly because of the controller interface.

I prefer PCs for RTS, FPS, Point-and-Click and Simulation titles. Again, because of the input method (Keyboard/Mouse). But also because more good games in these genres appear on PC.

So there's no real way to say one platform is better than the other. Especially since there are many consoles and only one 'PC' unit that upgrades over time. Also, conoles use to be inferior to PCs in terms of graphics and processing power, but that's no longer a factor.

Whoa! I blame PCs for the fight sticks. Other than that, Make no mistake, two of the three major consoles are more PCish than anything before them. Console gaming owes a lot to PCs, but the era of PC gaming being the king is over. I'm not saying PC gaming is a horrible thing,obviously it's not because millions of people game on PCs daily, I'm just saying that the Console has taken over in many aspects.

@ Vlad...funny, I was just going to post the same thing, you have failed to convince me that you know what you are talking about since I have had to hold your hand every step of the way. It's funny because I am not a huge PC gamer, and I know more about the technical aspect of it than you. I am glad you decieded to stop embarrassing yourself, it's better for everybody involved...except for those looking in and laughing at your failed points.
