THAT was a mere tap on the wrists? It's less offensive to call someone a moron than to downgrade someone's entire life based on a sig and yet the first would result in a ban, while this gets a "don't do it again, please"? :-/

Hey BHR-3, why don't you add when you think the PS3 will take all of Other from the 360 in your sig, that should help piss the haters off even more. OT: yes indeed, it's good to see the PS3 is about to take some important regions over in total sales in EU, thanks for bringing that to our attention,

The PS3 was nearly $700 (>600USD) here until recently.  That is a large chunk of change to spend on something that is just for entertainment.

Also i'm not sure what the big deal is about the PS3 passing the Wii in Italy and Spain.  They are huge Sony strongholds and as far as I know they are two countries where Sony has already had the lead this generation despite the earlier release of the Wii.

edit: PS3 has also been leading Other EU for most of the gen with the Wii only catching it very recently.

What's sad is that these numbers are even as close as they are! 360 had a whole year+ head start over PS3 in Europe!

I would also like to add that Italians and Spaniards have good taste :)

Ps3 here in Australia is $499.

The people who came into this thread and began taking personal jabs at the person who created it. Really, his signature and his view on the console war does not justify insulting him. And like I said, thi sis when PS3 has only outsold 360 for one week. Wtf would happen if PS3 actually had a chance?

Most of Europe should go to the ps3 this year but I don't expect it to take over the uk and north America. By the end of September both uk and north America should be back to the 360 outselling the ps3. One thing is for sure though, the ps3 will have a bright future in Europe and japan
