Deutschland: Konsolen-Software legt um mehr als 40 Prozent zu

In immer mehr deutschen Wohn- und Kinderzimmern stehen Spielkonsolen; wer unterwegs nicht auf Unterhaltung verzichten möchte greift zum Handheld. Dieser Trend schlägt sich in den Software-Umsätzen nieder: Spiele im Wert von Euro 112 Mio. wurden auf Basis des wöchentlichen Panelmarktes im dritten Quartal 2007 verkauft.

Eine Zunahme um 41 Prozent zum Vorjahr, wie media control mitteilt. Im Berichtszeitraum wurden 3,4 Mio. Titel abgesetzt – plus 35 Prozent.

Der Nintendo DS hat die Führung bei der Software übernommen und überholt die PlayStation2. 1,2 Mio NDS-Spiele wechselten in den vergangenen drei Monaten den Besitzer – fast eine Verdreifachung zum Vorjahr. Der Anteil an den Gesamtverkäufen aller Konsolenspiele stieg auf 35,8 Prozent.

Der Marktanteil von PS2-Software ging von 43,7 Prozent auf aktuell 32,2 Prozent zurück. Von Juli bis September betrug die Verkaufsmenge aller PlayStation2-Titel 1,1 Mio. Stück und blieb damit annähernd auf Vorjahresniveau.

Bei der aktuellen Konsolengeneration machte Nintendos Wii vor Xbox 360 und PS3 das Rennen. Auf die Wii entfielen 6,8 Prozent aller Software-Absätze, und auf die Microsoft-Konsole 6,2 Prozent. PS3-Titel machten 3,4 Prozent aus.

Sechs der zehn Topseller im dritten Quartal 2007 werden auf Nintendo DS gespielt. Ganz vorne: Dr. Kawashima: Mehr Gehirntraining, gefolgt von Pokemon in der Diamond und Pearl Version. Auf der Vier steht Dr. Kawashimas Gehirnjogging. Obwohl erst seit Ende September auf dem Markt, belegt FIFA 08 (EA) für die PS2 bereits Tabellenplatz fünf.

Bis Jahresende sollen über 70 Spiele erscheinen und den Markt weiter beleben. Beinahe unverändert blieben die Umsätze mit Computerspiele-Software: Spiele im Wert von 52 Mio. Euro – knapp ein Prozent mehr als im Vorjahr – wurden veräußert. Gleichzeitig ging die Menge um 4,6 Prozent zurück.

World Of Warcraft war der meistverkaufte Titel der letzten drei Monate. Mit Titan Quest auf Rang drei und Guild Wars: Factions auf Position acht stehen zwei weitere Rollenspiele in den Top Ten.
