Forums - Sony - NIS set to relase 'exciting news' on a PS3 RPG

Nippon Ichi, publisher of popular niche JRPG franchises such as Disgaea, has announced that some 'exciting' PS3 JRPG news is coming soon. When questioned on the PS Blog "Do you guys have an PS3 JRPG in the works that is not D2 like your previous two PS3 JRPG?", NIS America publicist Nao Zook teased "You’ll hear some exciting news soon".

 

What this could be is anyone's guess. Perhaps a follow up to last year's smash hit SRPG Disgaea 3? Or a confirmation of Atelier Rorona headed to the US? Or maybe some more info on the PS3 exclusive JRPG Last Rebellion?

 

With TGS right around the corner, I don't think we'll have too long to wait!

The Last Rebellion new information (like a release date) or the announcement of the localization of Atelier Rorona or Tears to Tiara are my bets. More so on Rorona.

Yes. I got Tears already, but I'd love a English translation to it! The sequel to it as well.

 What main stream jrpg's?        FFXIII ,FFvsXIII,FFXIV,WKC,VC, or do you mean the multiplat Namco titles?   The only mainstream jrpg on the 360 i thought was LO.
