Why wouldn't it? Polyphony Digital says that they can release the game right now if they wanted to but there just being really picky with everything trying to perfect it all. It would be wise of them to release it during the holidays and I'm sure they know that.

This is just like when XboxFamily claimed they had a reliable source about MGS4 coming to 360.

Come on, guys, why the hell would PD release GT5 during TGS hours when Yamauchi said he'll reveal more info about GT5 during the event?

Now as for whether Gran Turismo 5 will release this year, I haven't a clue. I'll wait till TGS to get that answer.

Exactly what I was thinking. Just like when they said they had "no plans at this time" regarding the PS3 price cut. They cut the price 2 days later.
