I believe this is amight have been a response to a comment I made recently in another thread created by darth.

In which I said GoW3 is not as big as a system seller as Final Fantasy XIII and Gran Tusimo 5 and that some people need lower expectations of the game. Given I am talking to the same community that overvalued just about every sony exclusive even Lair.

It'll sell a few thousand systems, but GOW isn't that big of a series. It's no halo/mario/gt/FF/gear/MGS/SSB

I didn't know everyone in USA and Japan played video games nice inference you got there.

Last time I checked GOW is a 18 rated game so it's hardly selling to the millions of younger gamers and it's certainly not going to appeal to the older casual market either. With such a limited demographic customer it's extremely unlikely to boost sells more than just a small spike upon release for a few weeks.

yeah when M$ could do well with the HALO's 3rd iteration, and perhaps now with halo odst too, why not sony try somethin? Besides anything is bound to occur. And GOW is ofcourse a popular franchise in America as well, maybe not as much as HALO, but still close. Now certainly things can come handy here.
