Forums - Sales - Console Stock In Your Neck of the Woods

Just curious what the stock of consoles is looking like in stores in your neck of the woods.  I was in one of the local Wal-mart's yesterday and took a spin through the electronics section to see how things were looking on the Slim front.  As soon as I turned the corner I was bombarded with the "It only does everything" adds sticking out everywhere and $299 prices jumping out of display cases and on advert boxes stacked up at the end of the row. So as I made my way down the isle I took note of 0 Wii's (1 Wii-Fit), only 2 360 GTAIV Elite Bundles and 10 Slim's.  I was fully expecting to see the PS3 case empty so I was a bit suprised by that, then REALLY suprised when I visited the site this morning and saw the huge numbers the Slim was putting up.  Obviously this was only one location, in Canada, but it was still suprising.  How are things looking in your area?

Consoles Owned: Atari 2600, NES, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, N64, Gamecube, Wii, XBOX360

TONS of Wii, the same amount of 360s as there has been for the past 3 years, and very few PS3s.

In my wally mart there are tons of slims, a few wiis and like 2 360s.

My Gamestop is fully stocked with slims, as is my local Target and local Best Buy. Lots of the "It only does arrogance!" ads everywhere though. I heard one on the radio and saw one on TV last night.

Edit: Plenty of 360's too. Low on Wii's though. Weird.

all of the consoles seem to have significant stock in the three stores near where i work, i went looking yesterday as i was board at lunch, was kinda surprised, of all things in a walmart i came across a MGS bundle ... no other exciting bundles, and i havent had time to go to more major stores for this kinda stuff if i remember ill check it on friday

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

all are in stock

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

The few stores I have seen while shopping with the wifey. Lots of Slims, decent 360's, low on Wii's. Damn......feels like 2008 all over again.

Of course most people are going to say...

none of the console they love, adequate supply of console they are indifferent for, millions of the ones they hate.
